It was time for an epic herf day, so what better contest to enter than this one. There were many to choose from in the humidor but who can argue with a special cigar for a special occasion. We chose the Padron 50th Anniversary Natural. /u/warcaliber braved the frozen tundra of Ohio and the treacherous roads of Michigan to come up and spend the day with /u/immortalmortician and me. Here are our three reviews:
Hay, Almonds, Cream. This cigar is everything I would have hoped! Very steady burn, excellent draw, no wrapper or construction issues. Would highly recommend trying at least once per natural and maduro. I think this is an excellent addition to the Padron lineup.
Lots of cream and nuts. Only the second Padron I have had but it was excellent. Definitely has held up to all of the hype surrounding the cigar.
It started off with a huge pepper blast but that quickly subsided to creamy nuts and leather. This is the second 50th natural I’ve had and compared to the maduro 50th I had yesterday, I definitely like these better.
The barkeep was kind enough to take a picture of all three of us enjoying these fine sticks. We’ve got the rest of the day to go and a few more sticks and contests to knock out, so stay tuned!
