Anyone else fed up with LGBT politics?

Over the years, I've noticed that it is becoming increasingly difficult to express an opinion that is contrary to the majority in my LGBT community. There is no room for disagreement or criticizing, even when done respectfully. The latest instance is about the BLM Toronto Pride controversy. I respect the opinion of people who agree with BLM's actions, but many of them have slammed me for being against it, especially since I am a white man (privilege). I don't understand how simply expressing my views can be wrong. I understand how these actions have happened, history of oppression, etc., but it looks like now, it's not even ok to discuss these things or criticize anyone who is a BLM and/or queer leader. This has happened with a lot of other issues in the community. I'm now distancing myself from the politics/community because it's too stressful for me and I seek out non-political spaces like artistic/cultural events and cruising places. Has anyone here had the same experience?
