Preferred pronouns?

I was just wondering if transgendered people here were offended or bothered by particular people using pronouns like they/them? Like girls who are very feminine and date boys and vice versa for boys? I was curious, because I know myself I would be. It's just become such a thing (in my age group) that's it's for attention of being "cool and unique". I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just on the outside looking in. I identify as a she/her and I'm a girl and lesbian.
