Why the new law in Indiana is against the teachings of Jesus Christ

Matthew 7:1-5

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Jesus discouraged judgement or isolation of others based on their sins. Jesus never spoke out against homosexuality. By judging others based on their sexuality, we are not only committing our own sin but we are standing in stark contrast to the life that Jesus encouraged us to live. If I read every word in red in my Bible, I see teachings of love, inclusion, tolerance, and acceptance. I also see multiple warnings about judging others for their actions.

So, in my opinion, not only is the law against the teachings of Jesus Christ; the proponents of the law and those to seek to discriminate against gays are the people who are truly acting in a direct and premeditated sinful lifestyle.

For you who support this law and the discrimination, please ask for forgiveness and then go and sin no more.
