signs that hes not interested in talking to you?

I'm texting with a coworker...we got along okay in person. Hes pretty funny and talkative. We're both gay. He knows Im gay, I know hes gay.

I asked him for his number a while back because I knew I would be moving to a different floor...different supervisor. So now we havent seen each other in person for a while but hes not as talkative? Is he a bad texter or is he just plain uninterested? Does he find me boring? Am I annoying? Idk

Part of me thinks hes super cute (yes I know, dont shit where you eat blah blah) and part of me thinks I'll okay with just being friends (I have like no gay friends and I dont want to be THAT guy who is like "well I dont wanna be friends anymore bc you dont wanna fuck me)...but I cant tell if he like doesnt want to be friends either...maybe its awk now that we're on diff floors/departments? idk
