My mom (50F) believes that I (25F) was molested as a child because I identify as bisexual. I don't remember being molested, but I have no idea how to dissuade her.

Four years ago, my parents (highly religious) found out (accidentally) that I identify as bisexual (and was in a same-sex relationship at the time). She keeps referencing a study (I keep forgetting to ask which one) that found that 100% of a thousand something individuals who identify as gay/lesbian were victims of child abuse. I do not believe this statistic, but she is convinced, even though she hasn't offered any anecdotes other than a dream that might even suggest I was raped.

The thing is, I have no memory of anything before the age of 4. I think she suspects my dad, but other than my dad being an affectionate person, I have no reason to believe him to be a rapist. She wants me to sit and try and remember being raped..but I honestly can't remember anything and again, I think it's bullshit to assume that because someone is gay, they must have been molested.

How can I try and dissuade her from believing this nonsense?
