Gay in a non gay place.

Well i come from this place in queensland(thats all im saying, not hating) and in this place its pretty much considered bad to be gay, im proud of being gay but i want to soon get out, i would consider myself young for comnig out of the closet at the age of 15(almost 16) but i want to come out and with the low gay population in this comminity i dont know if it is such a good idea. pls give some advice of reddit pls
