Moving towards a cure for homosexuality

I have been reading lately about various cures for homosexuality and there are some promising breakthroughs which involve genetics and psychotherapy.Unfortunately there is a lot of resistance in the homosexual community against any form of therapy and I hope that those who are affected will be able to embrace the latest scientific research instead of ignoring science because of their ideological beliefs.Those who oppose scientific therapy which attempts to correct this particular psychological/physiological imbalance can be equated to climate change deniers, so I urge the homosexual community to embrace and encourage further research into finding a cure for this phenomenonCheers
