I'm pretty new to this, help?

I'm a 22yr old college kid and, although I have plenty (read too much) experience in hookup culture, I don't have any experience actually having a boyfriend (yes I'm out, guy I like is almost? Out). So what I'm asking /r/gay is what are some great first date ideas that aren't too pushy / forward? Or, better role playing question: if you were just coming out, what would be the ideal date your boyfriend would take you on? I'm looking for romantic, but nothing over the top (I.e. No River dinners at sunset on the Potomac with Judie garland singing)
