How to deal with a known homophobe in your home?

My parents are currently entertaining a guest who is a known homophobe and spews vitriol like we should just beat the gay out of them and how we're ruining the world. My dad and him went to the store together for something and he started up about coloured people and gays, knowing he has a gay son. I hate that he's here and my parents are serving him dinner. Am I being too sensitive about the fact that they're entertaining him right now? I feel like they should have never invited him here to begin with but he helped connect some stuff in the yard they needed and now they're feeding him as thanks. I know it's not a personal attack but I can't help but feel like they should have asked for help elsewhere. Augh, I need to go for a run to cool off.
