Need some help understanding a few things...

I am not gay. But I fully support equal rights for everyone. I never want my kids to not feel that they have a safe place in our house. With anything. I've tried to do my best in that regard.Here's the problem... I thought I was so liberal and so cool until I saw the 'Take Me To Church' video. Because the two guys making out makes me uncomfortable. Like really uncomfortable.I don't want to be an asshole. But if I am as liberal as I think I am, this shouldn't make me feel that uncomfortable. But it does. So I am pretty much an asshole.I am clearly not as tolerant in life as I am in theory. How do I fix that? Any ideas?This is an honest question. Please don't make me regret asking this here. I get that I have a few shortcomings. I want to fix that.
