I think I've been blocked on grindr but I'm not sure?

So I've been talking to a guy on grindr for a while, and we were due to meet up today. When I checked my messages this morning, he wasn't there under the message tab and he's not in my favourites any more, but I found him with the search function in the messages thingy. When I tapped his picture it said we'd last had a conversation in June 2015, but didn't show the conversation. It also said he'd last been online an hour ago. I sent him a message to check we were still on for tonight and then the same thing happened again: he's not at the top of my messages but I can find him with the search function.Is this a problem with grindr's servers, or have I been blocked?
