Do you feel pressure to be pretty, witty and gay?

I'm a masculine looking and acting gay man. When I'm with straight people, I sometimes think they expect me to be like stereotypical gay men in the popular media, all bubbly and vivacious and full of bon mots and biting comments. In other words, a 21st century Paul Lynde.Does this happen to you, and how do you deal with it?
